Competitive call for International Students to conduct MSc-thesis research in Rwanda

IITA and Bioversity International Rwanda organise a competitive call for MSc thesis research students affiliated with:

– Catholic University of Leuven (KUL), Belgium;
– Ghent University (UGhent), Belgium;
РUniversité Catholique de Louvain (UCL), Belgium;
– The Leibniz Institute of Agricultural Development in Transition Economies (IAMO), Germany;
– Wageningen University (WUR), Netherlands.

The call is open for students to conduct their MSc thesis research under our research for development projects in Rwanda. As we have only limited amount of space and capacity, students will be selected using a competitive process through which students submit their proposals.

Shortlisted students will be pitching their proposal online to a panel of IITA and Bioversity researchers after which between 2 or 3 students will be selected for the year 2018-2019. Student projects will have a budget of $2500, which includes stipend and research costs.

More information on topics, terms and conditions can be found by clicking this link.

Students that comply with the criteria and who accept the terms and conditions can submit their application online through Google Forms.

A similar call will soon be launched for students of the University of Rwanda (UR).
