IITA and Bioversity International Rwanda organise a competitive call for BSc or MSc thesis research students affiliated with the University of Rwanda.
Some important conditions include:
(1) The call is open for students to conduct their BSc or MSc thesis research under our research for development projects in Rwanda;
(2) The call is open for students who are already enrolled in an University of Rwanda BSc or MSc program;
(3) This is not a full scholarship grant. The grant supports only BSc- or MSc-thesis research projects of max 6 months.
As we have only limited amount of space and capacity, students will be selected using a competitive process through which students submit their proposals. Shortlisted students will be pitching their proposal to a panel of IITA and Bioversity researchers after which between 2 and 4 students will be selected for the year 2019. Student projects will have a budget of $2500, which includes stipend and research costs.
<< This call is now closed. An updated student call will be published towards the end of 2019 >>
